lyrics
I don’t want to settle down / I just want to play my music / in this cold and empty house / I don’t want to stay / I got too much in here going on / it’s driving me insane / I gotta go / would you even know? / it all comes back to me / it all comes back to me / photograph my heavy heart / right outside Versailles / and I filled my notebooks up with wandering prose / drinking too much wine / I’ve spent too much time on my own / I just want to die / I’ve gotta go home / would you even know? / it all comes back to me / it all comes back to me / it all comes back to me / it all comes back to me / if angels live in heaven homes / I don’t want to try / dodging airplanes headed east unknown / there’s no much place to hide / I am all these things / I don’t need no wings / I am all these things / all the pigeons sing! / oh, enchantee janvier! / oh, enchantee janvier! / oh, enchantee janvier! / oh, enchantee janvier!
I was so lucky to make these songs with friends from Canada and Iceland: Laura Leif, Prins Polo, Benni Hemm Hemm, Clinton St. John and Samantha Savage Smith. We had an international adventure indeed! woodpigeon
A project shared between myself and Kathryn Calder, Frontperson is something I'm terribly proud of. Singing and playing with Kathryn is such a joy, and I can't wait to make our next record together. woodpigeon
Laura Leif is such an inspiration and also a great friend. There's few people I enjoy playing or making music with, and this album is a true beauty I keep coming back to. Love! woodpigeon

It may not be a full-fledged LP, but All Delighted People is probably my favourite of Sufjan's works. Without an overaching album theme to tie the songs together, it felt like Sufjan was free to experiment on each track and give them their own unique sound. And because of that (and Sufjan's talent), every track on there is a standout track. Angkasawan
